More About Curtis Tam

Curtis Tam is the Chief Fellow for Scar Healing Institute. Curtis earned his Bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology after graduating in 3 years from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Prior to co-founding SHI, Curtis spent four years in Dr. Kohn’s lab where he investigated how to enhance gene therapy production for sickle cell disease.

Curtis’s goal at SHI is to use his innovative spirit to bring the latest research, innovations, and technology to SHI patients.
